Love is an emotion that has existed forever. We cannot live without it. It may seem like there are times when love may not exist for us in our lives. This is not true. Love is everywhere. Love comes in many forms, not just romantic love. We can have, share, and receive love for family, friends, co-workers, animals, nature, and all of humanity thru acts of kindness and compassion. The energy of love vibrates at a higher level. Hate is at the opposite end of the spectrum. If you want to raise your vibration and attract more love in your life, then you have to put more love out and reduce the amount of low vibrational thoughts you may have such as anger, hate, envy, jealousy, self pity, or blame. The more positive feelings, thoughts, or acts we focus on will raise our vibration and thus as a result attract more love into our lives. That is not to say that we will not experience negativite emotions in our life. This is a part of life, a part of the human experience that we should learn and grow from. Growth does not just happen. It takes effort. Just like everything in life. It takes work. We can shape our lives for the better and attract more love into our lives just by realizing that we can use our minds to change how we perceive our reality. If you are experiencing a bad day, try practicing gratitude or acceptance. Be grateful and thankful for what you do have, things can always be worse. Try accepting things as they are for now and change your mind by doing something that makes you or someone else happy. Kiss a puppy dog, watch the sunrise, listen to your favorite song, give someone a hug for no reason and smile at someone you do not know or volunteer somewhere and do something charitable and see how it makes you feel. We all have the ability to do this, to change our thinking and as a result improve our lives.

Saw that picture of me and you on Facebook. I’m doing much better now than I was then. I know you are suffering with depression now. I’ve been where you are. Don’t use the excuse that it’s your age. You can do anything you put your mind to! I did it and so can you. You can come out of this and feel better. Anti-depressants only help so much. The rest is up to us. Start with trying not to sleep so much. Exercise and eat better. Read good things that will inspire and uplift you. We never stop growing as a soul. Your body is getting old but your soul is even older…yet youthful full of spirit in it’s true nature. When we get depressed our energy or life force; our spirit, diminishes. That’s what it felt like for me. We all need to heal from things. You are no different than anyone else. You have emotional pain which you need to heal from. And your husband has pain too. That’s probably why he drinks so much. He is self medicating. Anyway, I wanted to say, “I love you mama!” And always have. I don’t blame you anymore for the past. Everything happens for a reason even though we may not understand right now. It’s all a part of our growth. I have learned this. It has not been easy but I have to admit…my life is much better and happier now than it was then, in that picture. I felt like a lost soul then. I have realized that we can’t just dream. To change our reality, we have to change our thinking. And everything takes hard work. I’ve learned to work hard. I just have to focus more on the things I love and enjoy that brings me the most happiness. We learn from each other. Even your sisters and their children’s pain can teach us things. And we can teach them too. I pray that we all heal and become happier as a family. We all came into each other’s life for a reason. You are a good woman. I admire your love and compassion for animals and all that you have done over the years to help them. They truly are innocent angels who need looking out for. They bring people so much love that they are like little angels incarnated. I heard a spiritual teacher once say something like our pets; cats and dogs, are of a higher vibration than us. They only know how to love unconditionally. How people treat them is part of the individuals state of being. If they are angry or uneducated or mentally ill in some way, they will not treat the animals with compassion. These harmful acts only come back to us in some way. This is Karma. Compassion is the main teaching of Buddishm. You have alot of love and compassion for all what Buddhists call, sentient beings. Even the smallest creature like a bug, I remember you setting them free.🐞 You taught me to love all people and to not be prejudice. You have a good heart. I learned many good things from you that are a part of me too. Thank you!! And don’t worry so much. I’m ok. I may not be exactly where I want to be in life at this time, but I’m on the road to getting there. 🙂

Love you lots!!😚

True Love

Once upon a time there was a girl who left her husband in search of true love. She was a lost girl who did not know what love really was. She broke her husband’s heart. She loved him like a brother she told him. But she longed for something more, romantic love, passion.

Many years have passed and she is still alone. She never found true love. She met alot of assholes along the way.

The only man that truly loved her the way she needed to be loved was her ex-husband whom she left in search of something more, which she never found.

What did she learn? Life is not like in the movies. She will never know the kind of love she dreamt of. She realizes now that true love is not about sex and romance. True love is about someone who loves you deeply and unconditionally and would do anything for you. It is about loyalty. It is not about being incredibly attracted to the person and having great sex. It is about loving each other’s soul. It is about being there for each other. It is about sacrifices and taking care of each other. It is about kindness and compassion.

Finding a good man is not easy. She found one once and gave him up. She did not know what she had. If there is such a thing as karma, she has reaped hers.
